(a) Ownership of Rights

The Queen Is Dead Records holds intellectual property rights to certain content available on its websites, particularly content for which it holds such rights under applicable law or agreements concluded with the relevant rights holders.
Musical works, recordings, photographs, cover artwork and other content provided by artists, authors, producers, photographers or partners remain the property of their respective rights holders, unless otherwise provided by contract.
The presence of such content on TQIDr’s websites does not constitute a transfer of rights to the association or a general authorisation for third parties to reuse it.

(b) Use and Reproduction of Content

Any reproduction, public communication, adaptation, modification, translation, distribution or exploitation of protected content, outside uses permitted by law or authorised by the relevant rights holders, requires prior authorisation.
This provision applies in particular to the reuse of texts, photographs, visual materials, musical works and recordings for publication, communication or commercial exploitation purposes.
It does not affect exceptions provided for under applicable legislation, including certain private uses and short quotations made in accordance with legal requirements.

Where the legal requirements are met, particularly regarding substantial investment, the databases concerned may also benefit from the specific sui generis protection granted to database makers.

(d) Unauthorised Uses

Any use of protected content that infringes the rights of its respective rights holders may give rise to legal liability and, where applicable, constitute intellectual property infringement.
Requests for authorisation concerning content published by TQIDr may be sent to: [email protected]. Where content is subject to third-party rights, authorisation must be obtained from the relevant rights holder(s).
